Modern Home Addition on Devonshire Drive in Dallas, TX

This single story ranch house was originally built in 1949 in the prestigious Devonshire Estates neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. Our clients purchased the home with a vision to transform the house into a blended modern style home that better suited their lifestyle.

Capital Renovations Group was tasked with the challenge of building a new two-story addition that set the stage for future planned renovations that would completely transform the entire house from a ranch to the soft modern home they had envisioned.

The innovative architectural design solution included a split level foyer that not only connected the existing ranch home to the new room addition, it also served as a mudroom and garage entry with access to the side entrance, as well as the existing family room. The open staircase became a stunning central focal point of the home.

The materials and finishes used in the design of the addition were eventually carried through the entire house.
